People have been asking me really funny questions ever since Thursdaygal became my alias. The most common one is “Are you born on a thursday?” lol. The truth is that it’s not even that deep—I was just another fangirl that happened to go with a name of a song. Back then, no one really had an idea who The Weeknd was, and I was crazzzzyy (still am) in love with his mixtapes. My favorite song, among thousand others, was “Thursday”—and rest is history! Unique huh?
Blogging counts as a hobby?
I’ve been blogging since ages. I don’t even know if I can count the years on one hand to be honest. It all started with my growing interest for coding (I know.. I was such a nerd help!) at the age of 13. From designing templates and layouts for my simple HTML site, to writing more detailed about my daily life and finally getting hold on photography. It just fell into the right pieces, cause Photography goes so well hand in hand with blogging! I started writing about my hobbies, my growing passion for DIY projects, my interior craziness in my room, shopping habbits, The Weeknd, and my beautiful green culture that color 99% of my life. In many aspects, it was just my private little diary on the internet. I could write the craziest dreams I had, just to cry out about certain people, why life was so unfair and you know.. The typical phase a 15-year-old go through lol.
It’s just 1-2 years ago I actually opened up about my blog for people. It was still such a fragile part of me, that I really didn’t want people to see, but at the same time; As I was growing up I also realized that it wasn’t really as personal anymore, as it used to be. I gave little more space to my hobbies than my personal life and problems, which made it easier for me to showcast.
